For this project I'm back in my beloved New Forest to hang out with cross country mountain biker Jamie B for a sunset cycle and just to generally soak up the beauty of the surroundings! What an evening!
We join Rhys and Victoria on their adventures down the Lee River in Hackney, giving us a sneak peak at their "Off-the-grid-living"! Not sure about mid Winter, but this way of life cannot be beaten in the Summer months!
A project I've wanted to do for a long time and taking my first leap into directing a short film (Link in Portfolios). Luckily, superhero, yogi, stuntman and buddy "The Downward Doug" was only too happy to be center stage! The misty cliffs of Folkestone served as our backdrop and the birds eye view is from Little Switzerland Campsite. A giant thank you to them and my team for putting everything into this!
There's a certain time of year when the light is just perfect in Crystal Palace Park. It just so happens to be in February when it's FREEZING!! Such a fantastic shoot with the awesome Kim Hartwell and Tara Maguiles
A project I started as an excuse to undertake more adventures around the island, which has developed into documenting the beauty and landscapes of the unique personality which is Great Britain! For inspirational imagery and location ideas, or simply giving you the motivation to get out that door and among it all no matter the weather! Wellies and rain jackets recommended!
Taking inspiration from a recent commercial shoot at the Barbican I returned with these lovely ladies to capture a "City Workout" in and amongst the high rises of the Barbican Centre. Really appreciated the fun and authenticity these awesome girls brought to the table!

A Project for A La Male Magazine took us to the windswept shingle of Whitstable Bay. Intermittent thunder storms contrasted by bright sunshine gave us near deserted beaches and alot of whinging! he he. But model, Ashley from Next Models London was an absolute trooper! Grooming by Sophie Higginson and styled by Marcie Marc (A La Male)
I'd been wanting to shoot at this location for years as I cycled past it each day when returning from various adventures but a commercial project never really seemed to fit. It wasn't until presenting it to the talented Maria Francolini from the Highstreet Bible that it all fell into place. Hair and Make-up by the magical Jo Clayton and effortless modeling by the beautiful Shana Mouton from South Africa. Truly pleased with the results!
One thing I'm rather partial to is turning a location scout into a full blown adventure! Only problem is that the weather is NEVER the same when you return! A few selects of a 2 days Hike from Hope-Edale-Hope in the Peak District with my partner in crime. Pathfinder McLaren!
There is something quite unique about the Mediterranean Coast. Below are a collection of some of my favorite places I visited, some for work and others simply for L'esprit! Hover over each image to reveal where, but try and guess first!
The Drakensberg Mountain range in the middle of South Africa will always have a special place in my heart. It's the area where I was brought up, spent my honeymoon and this is where I come to unwind with my family. A magical part of planet earth!
